Copilot for Business

Microsoft bought rights to use and develop their own AI based on Chat GPT, called Copilot. They also developed an AI integrated into Microsoft 365 Apps, called Microsoft 365 Copilot.


Copilot Chat is an AI-powered assistant designed to help you with a wide range of tasks. Whether you need help with productivity, finding information, or just having a friendly chat, Copilot is here to assist. It can synthesize information from the web, offer support, and complete various tasks to make your life easier.


Microsoft 365 Copilot is an AI-powered assistant integrated into Microsoft 365 apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. It helps you enhance productivity by providing features such as drafting and editing, data analysis, meeting assistance, and task automation. This is not available at SCCU at this moment.


Accessing Copilot Chat


1- Open Chrome

2- Managed Bookmarks > My Applications

3- Click on Copilot




4- Click on Sign In at the top right > Sign in with your email + Windows password

5- Click on your name under WORK (information shared in the Personal chat is not secure!)



6- Welcome to Copilot

    a. New Chat - starts a brand new chat 

    b. Security badge - shows the chat is secure

    c. About Copilot 

    d. Open and closes the Chats History panel on the right

    e. Feedback, colour settings, and your Microsoft account

    f. Write your question in this box, or attach a file (please remove personal data from any file before uploading, for a second level of security!)
